WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

This position performs various warehouse activities such as receiving product, monitoring and organizing inventory, moving product, and various cleaning and upkeep duties.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes incoming product including verifying box count, packing slip counts and inspecting for freight damage.

  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins.

  • Organizes and retrieves stock from the warehouse.

  • Identifies inventory shortages and reports them to Warehouse Manager.

  • Utilizes a forklift to move and organize office equipment and furniture.

  • Assists with annual physical inventory counting and recording, along with periodic and consistent cycle counts throughout the year.

  • Interfaces with the field crews to ensure correct product is pulled and loaded for delivery to site.

  • Prepares product to be returned to manufacturers by packaging furniture to prevent further damage, Bill of Lading is filled out correctly, packing slip is complete, carrier has been called for pick up and copies of all documentation are filed.

  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and storage areas neat and clean.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with electronic warehouse management systems and receiving and shipping of containers/LTL shipments and UPS/FedEx Ground shipments.

  • Ability to operate various warehouse machinery such as forklifts, scissor lifts, walkie riders, etc.

  • Mechanically adept and knows how to safely use tools and equipment.

  • Physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes and equipment.

  • Valid Driver’s License with safe driving record.

INTERIOR INSTALLER

This position builds and installs systems furniture, case goods, accessories, shelving and related components according to blueprints and written directions.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assists with loading, unloading, and staging of product.

  • Removes product packaging and assembles furniture, installs locks, cleans up and details product, all with a high level of workmanship.

  • Delivers strong customer service and ensures satisfaction through professional appearance and communications, good manners, and strong work ethic.

  • This position is also responsible for providing a high level of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Understands product specifications and descriptions; identifies finishes, colors and fabrics; knows how to make most mechanical adjustments (drawers, slides, etc.); can install wall channels or strips.

  • Understands basic electricity and systems furniture electrical component installation.

  • Mechanically adept and knows how to safely use tools and equipment.

  • Physical strength and stamina required to lift and move furniture, boxes and equipment.

  • Ability to work well within a team.

  • Knowledge of office furniture and ability to read architectural plans is desired.
